A lot has happened since our last update! So this is just a quick round-up of what we’ve been up to over the past year.

Wise Wales appointed a new Steering Group Chair in 2017. We are pleased to welcome Claire Morgan from Cardiff Met to the group.

We have rounded off work on the Pathways to Partnership projects for both FE and HE. Reports on both of these can be found in the Resources section.

As part of the Pathways to Partnership for FE work, we produced seven resources which outline ways to help improve learner voice practices. These range from establishing Student-Led Teaching Awards, to monitoring the diversity of course reps. Although they are aimed at FE institutions, some may also be relevant to our HE partners. You can find them in the Resources section.

We have held two conferences – Course Rep Conference in Aberystwyth in February and Partnership Conference in Cardiff in May. They both included a new panel discussion element to the day, which proved to be interesting and enlightening, and will most likely be featured in our future events.
